The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority announced that the Kingdom of Bahrain won the award (first destination for occasions and celebrations), during the sixteenth edition of the “Wow Asia” ASIA awards ceremony, which was held on June 20 and 21, at the JIO World Conference Center in Mumbai in the Republic of India.
This event is one of the most prominent regional activities specialized in the sectors of recreational tourism, business tourism, social events and wedding parties, as it brings together a group of decision makers and experts in these industries from all over Asia and the world, and celebrates distinction and innovation in organizing events.
The authority’s participation came within the framework of its relentless efforts to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain as an ideal destination to host the activities of meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE), where it reviewed the unique tourism and cultural constellations that the Kingdom enjoys, including the advanced infrastructure, modern facilities, the ancient heritage sites and the picturesque nature, which makes it a preferred destination to organize Darcotes, especially weddings.
The Authority was keen to highlight the most prominent luxury hotels and resorts that are characterized by high -level services, the latest facilities designed specifically to host weddings and special occasions, including the Rafez Al -Arain Palace Bahrain, the Jumeirah Gulf Resort, the Royal Saray Resort, and other destinations that combine luxury, privacy and authentic Bahraini nature.
