Said Mohammed Al -Tayer, Managing Director, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “Duaa”, said that the interactive “Hop Wind” platform from the authority witnessed an increasing use during the year 2024. The smart platform for self -evaluation of the designs of the Solar PVs and the award -winning international awards contributed to the evaluation of more than 1,700 solar energy delivery requests, with an increase exceeding 30% in 2024 Compared to the year 2023. The platform falls within the “Shams Dubai” initiative launched by the authority and allows home owners and buildings to install solar photovoltaic systems and link them to the authority’s network.
