Today, Saturday, the first batch of Bahraini citizens who were evacuated from Iran through Turkmenistan airport, will be estimated at Bahrain today, as part of continuous efforts to return the stranded citizens, in coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the “Tribunal Travel and Tourism” campaign.
It is scheduled to leave this evening, Saturday, a second batch from Turkmenistan Airport, exceeding 300 Bahraini citizens, on two separate flights, to reach Bahrain tomorrow, Sunday.
The organizers of the “Al -Mujtaba” campaign emphasized that evacuation operations are not limited to air transport only, but also include daily ground flights across the Iraqi border, as they run from 4 to 5 buses per day that reduce between 800 to 1,000 Bahraini citizens in the journey of returning to the homeland.
They pointed out that these efforts are implemented in direct coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and with the support of a number of civil campaigns, to ensure the return of citizens who are safely held in light of the current circumstances in the region.
