Students of the Scientific Division of Al -Azhar Secondary Certificate, today, Saturday, June 21, will perform the chemistry exam, within the exams of the first round of the academic year 2025/2024, which started on May 29 and will continue until July 10.
Dr. Ahmed Badir, head of the Central Administration of South Sinai Al -Azhar region, told Cairo 24 that students of the Scientific Division of Al -Azhar Secondary School in South Sinai perform exams within 8 main committees with four educational departments.
He stressed that the exams are taking place within 6 joint committees for scientific and literary students, and 2 committees for literary students only, and that the number of students of the scientific division is 147 male and female students, and the number of students of the Literary Division of Al -Azhar is 189 male and female students, with a total of 336 male and female students in Al -Azhar secondary certificate.
The head of the Central Administration revealed that the exams are continuing daily except for Friday only or the days of holidays and holidays that occur during the days of the week, as exams are performed as a day for the Scientific Division and a day for the Literary Division, according to the schedule of Al -Azhar secondary exams for this year.
Chemistry is the most difficult examinations of the Scientific Division in Al -Azhar Secondary
Dr. Ahmed Badir revealed that today, Saturday, is the most difficult days of Al -Azhar secondary exams for students of the Scientific Division, where they perform the chemistry exam from 9:00 to 12:00.
Dr. Ahmed Badir pointed out that several instructions are directed, including the failure of the mobile to enter students and observers, to address any fraud, good treatment of students within the committees, and to provide them with the appropriate atmosphere and good ventilation of classes to perform the exams quietly, and to maintain students’ focus during the exams, with the need to have self -control with students during the exams.
Al -Azhar Secondary School Examinations in the bouquelite system
Badir revealed that His Eminence Sheikh Ayman Abdul Ghani, head of the Al -Azhar Institutes Sector, confirmed that the exams are held in the bouquet system, which combines the question paper and the answer sheet in one booklet, with the aim of organizing exams and reducing the chances of cheating. Questions are designed to be more balanced between theoretical and applied aspects, and include multiple levels that take into account the individual differences between students.
He explained that the heads of the committees and observers were trained to confront the latest methods of electronic fraud, and metal detection devices were provided in all committees, and the central operations room was activated to follow the conduct of exams instantly and immediately deal with any emergency, with the application of deterrent penalties for those who prove his involvement in the breach of the examination system.
Examinations are under tight guard
Badir stressed that Al -Azhar exams are proceeding under heavy security men, whether in question centers or exam committees, with the prohibition of entering any electronic devices, whether they are mobile phones or smartphones, with accurate inspection procedures for students and observers.
It is worth noting that the number of applicants for the Al -Azhar secondary certificate exams this year reached 173,808 students at the level of the Republic, distributed over 577 committees.
