Dr. Osama Al -Shalakani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, chaired a regulatory meeting to discuss the mechanism of implementing the “Doors Roads” campaign, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Osama Abu Amer, Director General of Preventive Medicine, Dr. Nawal Omran, Director of Family Planning Department, in addition to the managers of the relevant health departments and their accompanying work team, and a number of managers of technical departments specialized in the Health Directorate. It also participated. Hoda Mohamed, Coordinator of Rifaiyat Al -Rifiyat at the Directorate of Social Solidarity in the governorate.
The 30 -day campaign deals with homes and collecting population data through field questionnaires, as part of joint efforts to improve the population situation and raise citizens’ awareness of the importance of health care and family planning.
During the meeting, Dr. Osama Al -Shalaqani stressed the importance of accuracy in introducing data into the system on a daily and regular basis, stressing the need for continuous follow -up to ensure the achievement of the campaign’s goals.
He also recommended holding a weekly meeting to review performance rates, in addition to forming a committee from the Health Directorate to follow up on the workfield.
Each director of a health department also directed the targeted departments to hold an internal meeting with the assistant work team to set the campaign mechanisms for the campaign and ensure good implementation.
This move comes within the framework of supporting the state’s efforts to improve population indicators and raise the efficiency of health services provided to citizens.
