Dr. Raman bin Abdullah Al -Nuaimi, Minister of Information, praised the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Russian Federation, which is witnessing continuous development and development in all fields in light of the mutual keenness to enhance and develop it from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and His Excellency President Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
This came on the occasion of the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Information and the independent non-profit institution (TV-November) in the field of information and information technology, signed by the Bahraini side, Mr. Abdullah Khalil Bouhaji, Director General of Bahrain News Agency (BNA), and from the Russian side, Mrs. Maya Manna, the director of Russia today.
A cooperation agreement was also signed between the Bahrain News Agency and the Unified Federal State Corporation (the Russian International News Agency – Sigudia), signed by the Bahraini side, Mr. Abdullah Khalil Bouhji, Director General of the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), and from the Russian side Sergey Kochtecov, the first deputy editor -in -chief on behalf of the “Russia Today” media group.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and the Cooperation Agreement came on the sidelines of the participation of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a guest of honor at the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025, held from 18 to 21 June 2025.
In this regard, the Minister pointed out the importance of holding such active partnerships that aim to enhance media cooperation, which will contribute to developing media work in both countries.
The Minister of Information expressed his confidence that this step will open new horizons for fruitful cooperation in a way that serves common interests and benefits the two friendly countries, especially with their celebration of this year with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between them.
