The Civil Court in Dubai refused to ask a man of an Arab nationality to compel his friend to pay a million and 50 thousand dirhams, claiming that he borrowed it for him, to pay it the defendant in equal monthly installments within 4 years, but he did not commit to payment. According to the case papers, an Arab man stated in his lawsuit that an old friendship relationship brought him together with the defendant, and after that the latter asked him for a sum of money, which prompted him to obtain a personal loan from the bank, he is paid within four years in equal monthly installments, including banking benefits, and indicated that he handed over the full amount to the defendant in cash, after withdrawing him from his account for the use of several bank cards, without direct transfer.
