His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dinah, Minister of Oil and Environment, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, participated in the dialogue session entitled “The Fuel and Global Energy Market … in search of a balance between the interests of producers and consumers,” as part of the work of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025, along with Mr. Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister in the Russian Federation, and His Excellency Mr. Jamsheed Khujayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Mr. Haitham Al -Ghais, Secretary -General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Mr. Alp Arslan Bayrakdar, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources in the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Ninad Popovich, Minister of International Economic Relations of the Republic of Serbia, and His Excellency Mr. Peter Curarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Hungary.
During the session, the latest developments in the global oil market were discussed, and aspects of strengthening the stability of fuel and energy markets, especially in light of the global economic challenges, and focusing on building a balanced vision that achieves the interests of producers and consumers.
In this regard, His Excellency the Minister of Oil and the Environment expressed the pride of the Kingdom of Bahrain for its international appreciation for its development and economic achievements, indicating that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s arrival as a guest of honor in the twenty -eighth edition of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025, held from 18 to 21 June, reflects this estimate.
He praised his happiness at the depth of historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Republic of Russia, and the continuous progress it witnesses, especially in the energy field, expressing his wishes for those in charge of the forum and its participants with success and success in achieving common interests.
His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dinah pointed out the importance of international forums in continuing to extend the bridges of cooperation and coordination, and shedding on the developments of issues and pushing efforts to open a wider horizon to achieve the desired prosperity, adding that the Kingdom of Bahrain has attractive ingredients that contribute to enhancing its competitiveness at all levels, which aims to participate in the Kingdom in high -level and important forums.
In the context of the forum, His Excellency the Minister of Oil and the Environment met with His Excellency Mr. Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister in the Russian Federation, in the national pavilion of the Kingdom of Bahrain, where ways of joint cooperation were reviewed and the enhancement of mutual coordination in a way that opens wider prospects for cooperation in the economic, investment and energy fields.
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister also toured the Bahraini pavilion and reviewed the development projects, investment opportunities and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainable growth, in addition to highlighting the Bahraini cultural component and the rich human heritage of the Kingdom.
His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dinah also met with His Excellency Mr. Julabak Mirza Mamadov, Minister of Energy in the Republic of Uzbekistan, where the importance of strengthening the paths of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries was emphasized, in a way that contributes to achieving common development goals, and enhances bilateral coordination efforts. During the meeting, a number of regional and international issues were also discussed.
