Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, welcomed the United Kingdom’s joining the security and prosperity agreement (C-SIPA), as a new strategic station in the march of close cooperation and partnership between the two friendly countries. His Excellency pointed out that joining reflects the depth of historical relations that link the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, its commitment to enhancing regional security and stability, and to advance the wheel of development and common prosperity.
He also noted the importance of this important step, which coincided with the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, to the United Kingdom, in opening broad horizons for bilateral cooperation in the security, defense, economic and technical fields and strengthening close historical friendship ties that extend for more than two hundred years and the strategic partnership existing between the two friendly countries. Pointing out that the United Kingdom plays a pivotal role in supporting international security and enhancing stability in the Middle East, and that its accession to C-SIPA will contribute to enhancing regional security integration.
He expressed his aspiration to support the United Kingdom’s accession to the agreement to expand cooperation in the fields of trade, investment and innovation, and to push forward the strategic partnership that the Kingdom of Bahrain signed with the United Kingdom in 2023 and the second strategic partnership in the field of investment and cooperation that was signed today in the framework of the official visit to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, and those who represent important turns in promoting economic partnership between the two countries The two friends.
