The presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, and within the framework of the official visit of His Highness to the United Kingdom, the second strategic partnership in the field of investment and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom was signed, as it was signed by the Bahraini side by Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and from the British side, Mrs. Rachel Reeves Minister of Treasury in the United Kingdom.
On this occasion, the Minister of Finance and National Economy emphasized the depth of the close historical relations that link the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom and the continuous development of bilateral relations at all levels, pointing to the mutual keenness to push its paths towards further growth and prosperity, in all fields, especially in the financial and economic fields, including the second strategic partnership in the field of investment and cooperation that It was signed today, which would contribute to enhancing economic growth and creating more job opportunities in the two friendly countries, within the joint priority sectors, including the financial services sector, the technology sector and the industry sector, and support efforts to reduce the intensity of carbon emissions, by investing two billion pounds from the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain in Britain.
He pointed out that this strategic partnership represents a new station that reflects the keenness that the two countries lead to expanding the horizons of joint cooperation and will contribute to the wheel of economic development and come within the framework of the government of Bahrain’s government to enhance the stimulating and attractive economic environment for investments between the Kingdom and the countries of the world, in a way that enhances the competitiveness of the national economy and is to achieve more bilateral cooperation, which is good and growing for the two countries and two friendly peoples.
He pointed out that the United Kingdom’s accession to the comprehensive agreement of security integration and prosperity, based on the call received by the United Kingdom from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America to join the agreement, will contribute to pushing cooperation paths towards more growth and prosperity and create more opportunities that belong to the two countries and two people who are good and grow in all fields.
He also pointed to the importance of enhancing aspects of economic cooperation by consolidating strategic partnerships with all brotherly and friendly countries, in a way that enhances sustainable growth opportunities, provides more qualitative job opportunities for citizens, and creates an attractive and stimulating business environment for innovation and investment, as well as the opportunities they achieve to exchange experiences, experiences and knowledge.
