During the past 24 hours, Port Said Governorate witnessed important events at the local and international levels, most notably the reception of the European Union delegation in an expanded meeting that discussed ways of investment and development cooperation, as well as continuous environmental, health and educational campaigns that serve the people of the province.
Port Said Governor discusses cooperation with the European Union
Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, received the delegation of the European Union Mission headed by New Luckyas Zaimis, head of the Union Trade Department, where the two sides discussed the prospects for cooperation in development projects, and the governor affirmed the investment boom witnessed by Port Said, expressing his aspiration for more fruitful partnerships, while the delegation expressed his happiness at the level of development, and his intention to enhance cooperation in infrastructure projects and facilities.
The governor congratulated the sons of Port Said on the anniversary of the departure of the last British soldier on June 18, stressing that this day remains a symbol of national liberation, and it calls for pride in the city’s valiant tournaments throughout history.
Port Fouad continued the campaign to combat the law and mosquitoes in the morning and evening pinks, using pesticide spray cars, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Islam Bahnasawi, the city’s president, to preserve public health and the environment, and the continuation of the daily campaigns to cover all neighborhoods was emphasized.
Dr. Ahmed Hassan Salem, Director General of the Branch of the Health Care Authority in Port Said, conducted a field tour of Al -Zuhur Hospital, during which he followed the performance indicators and patients’ frequency on the emergency departments, stressing the importance of the availability of medicines and intensification of technical traffic on the vital departments, within the framework of the authority’s keenness to raise the efficiency and quality of the medical service.
Port Said University witnessed an intense activity, as Dr. Sherif Youssef Saleh received members of the training mission from Japan to discuss the implementation of the Tukatsu diploma at the Faculty of Education, confirming the university’s full support for this international educational trend, and his Excellency continued to train the administrative apparatus at the university within the professional leadership program, praising the trainees and their future role in developing institutional performance.
