A few weeks before the expected event “Galaxy Unpacked”, new leaks appeared that reveal the designs of the Galaxy Watch Smart Series from Samsung, including the Classic version and the potential Ultra 2 version.
The leaked images show clear design changes with significant improvements in the features, putting these hours in a strong competitive position before the official launch.
Unified and bold design in all versions
The new designs revealed by the famous leak Evan Blass show front facades of the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic watches alongside a model believed to be Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, and what draws attention in these models is the unified design that depends on a mix between the square and the circular shape, or what is known as “Squircriple”, which is the same character that you presented Samsung for the first time with the previous Galaxy Watch Ultra, and it appears to be the main visual feature of the entire Watch 8 series.
Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is a long -awaited feature
One of the most prominent leakage surprises is the return of the physical roller edge in the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, a feature that was loved by users due to the ease of mobility it provides.
The hour will include three side buttons, including the main operating button, the return button, and a circular button for quick access to applications or exercise tracking, and a preliminary version of this watch has recently appeared on the EBAY website, which supports the health of the leaks.
A new interface and advanced health tracking features
All new series hours will come with the WEAR OS OS, which will bring noticeable improvements in health and activity tracking, and these improvements include new tools for measuring carotenoid levels in the body as well as intended guidelines for hostility and more accurate tools to monitor sleep quality.
These features will not only be limited to the new series, but will also be available to Galaxy Watch 5 users and beyond through the One UI 8 experimental program to be launched later in June 2025.
Better durability and expected techniques in the next event
The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 version is expected to come with a structure made of titanium, which gives it greater hardness and durability compared to previous versions, while the Galaxy Watch 8 and Classic focuses on Samsung on the provision of larger screens and longer battery life.
These hours are expected to be announced during the “Galaxy Unpacked” event on July 13, 2025 in New York City, in conjunction with the disclosure of Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 phones.
