The Hebrew newspaper “Haaretz” revealed an accelerating phenomenon for the escape of Israeli and foreign citizens present in Israel across the sea to Cyprus, using a special yacht that starts from the sects of cities such as “Herzlia”, Haifa and “Ashkelon”, away from any official oversight, at high prices of thousands of dollars.

The newspaper pointed out that hundreds of Israelis joined social media groups coordinating these cruises in complete secrecy, and that most of them refused to reveal his name, stressing that they are “leaving hateful”, while a few admit that they are fleeing Iranian attacks.

From the early morning hours, they arrive in the ports, carrying their small bags, looking for the yacht that will take them to Larnaca and from there to other destinations around the world.

The newspaper says that the navy in “Herzlia” turned into something similar to a “miniature departure station”, as its correspondents saw at least a hundred people preparing to leave during one of the mornings, at a time when the authorities were unable to estimate the extent of the worsening phenomenon.

Some of the fleeing resides outside “Israel” and came on a visit and ended up stuck, while others join his family abroad.

The trip to Cyprus usually takes between 8 to 25 hours depending on the type and speed of the yacht, and its cost starts from 2500 shekels and may reach 6000 shekels.

Some of the tribes refused to participate in these operations despite the attractive financial offers, considering that the risk is not worthy, while Haaretz confirmed that a number of trips are taking place without legal insurance or a license to transport passengers.
