The Northern Municipal Council unanimously approved its members to allocate part of a property affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development for the benefit of Salman City City City, in support of its humanitarian message and to enhance its presence inside the city of Salman to serve the people directly.
This decision came after a constant follow -up that lasted for nearly two years by the municipal member Bassem Abu Idris, who has given this file special importance, in order to keep it with the vision of the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the policies of the Ministry of Social Development in enabling active civil action.
Abu Idris said that the association is currently suffering from its temporary location in the Barbar region, outside the city of Salman, which constitutes an additional trouble for the needy families and the elderly in the movement, especially since most of the beneficiaries do not have an independent means of transportation.
Pointing out that this allocation is expected to contribute to the establishment of a permanent headquarters and an investment project that contributes to supporting the association’s resources and enhancing its ability to provide sustainable community services.
He stressed that this decision is a victory for the honest charitable work, and direct support for the most needy groups, as we always strive for our community institutions close to people, active in their service, and we look forward to broader cooperation from the Ministry of Development in supporting such national initiatives.
