NBC News reported that US officials are that the Pentagon is working to accelerate the deployment of a carrier and ships in the region in conjunction with the burning conflict between Israel and Iran.
A US network official confirmed that the Nemitz aircraft carrier and its accompanying ships were sent to the Middle East without delay, and the aircraft carrier Nimitz is expected to reach the area next week.

The American official pointed out that Washington’s move means that it keeps two groups of aircraft carriers in the region for at least a month, and that other ships, including US Navy destroyers, are also heading to the Middle East, and these new ships will join another already present off the coast of Israel.
