Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal, Governor of Aswan, held an expanded meeting, to review the method and mechanism for implementing a plan to rationalize consumption for electricity, and to emphasize the need to adhere to it within all buildings and establishments in government departments, public bodies, public sector companies and the business sector, throughout the official working hours with the complete closure of internal and external lighting for them after the end of the official working hours.
He explained that vital service sites, such as hospitals, health units, power stations, drinking water, sanitation, and operating rooms are excluded, as readings will be followed in centers and cities, to ensure the extent of the fully faced entities and facilities.
During the meeting, which was attended by Eng. Amr Lashin, Deputy Governor, and Major General Ayman Al -Sharif, the Secretary General, as well as the executive and religious leaders and heads of local units, Dr. Ismail Kamal stressed the local officials of the field follow -up to implement the deadlines for summer time, to open and close public stores in implementation of the assignments of the Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, and according to the decision of Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development and Chairman of the Higher Committee For licenses of public stores, where packages will be dealt with with the violators, in coordination with the Security Directorate, the Utilities Police and all the relevant agencies.
He was directed to activate the role of follow -up committees in each center and city, to intensify sudden campaigns on all public stores to ensure that their owners are committed to the scheduled dates, and apply the necessary legal procedures towards those who violate the new opening and closure dates, and appealed to the governor of Aswan shop owners, restaurants, cafes, bazaars, malls, workshops, craft work, wedding halls and clubs to adhere to the dates of opening and closing, So that the penalties prescribed by the law are not applied to violators of the decision.
He pointed out that the state seeks, through the application of that decision, to achieve discipline in the street, and to rationalize the use of electricity to achieve a balance between the supreme interest of the state and the interests of citizens in practicing their commercial activities as required, calling for the issue of rationalization of electricity consumption with Friday sermons and religious lessons in mosques, and also with preaching sessions in churches, while intensifying awareness campaigns through the authorities concerned with electricity companies to define citizens in a way of rationalization that contributes in a way that contributes in a way Directly in the lack of power of electricity, especially during the current period with the entry of the summer.
