In the context of the state’s preparations to participate in the sixty -second session of the two sub -bodies of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (SB62), which will be held in the German city of Bonn, during the period from 16 to 26 this year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a national coordination meeting with the participation of the relevant authorities in the UAE. The meeting was chaired by Abdullah Balala, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability, as he stressed during the meeting the importance of the pivotal role played by the UAE delegation in consolidating its climate leadership on the international scene, and preserving the gains that were achieved during the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
