On Saturday evening, Israeli Minister of Education Yoav Kish issued a decree to move to the education system from the next week, until Saturday, June 21, in light of the continued security tensions, according to the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.
Kish explained that the aim of the decision is to provide a stable, clear and safe educational framework for students and teachers in light of the security uncertainty witnessed by Israel in light of the Iranian attacks.
The postponement of high school in Israel
It was also decided to postpone the high school certificate exams scheduled for this week, including the examinations of history and biology, to be held a week after their original date.
This decision in conjunction with the announcement of the leadership of the Home Front is that there has been no change in the defensive guidelines, stressing that educational institutions will remain closed until at least 20:00 pm on Sunday, in light of the current conditions.
