The New Zealand volleyball team arrived at Bahrain International Airport on Friday, in preparation for participating in the Asian Men Cup, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain this month.
The mission was received by the Chairman of the Reception Committee, Sadiq Al -Zimour, Chairman of the Communications Committee, Mahdi Al -Jamri, and a number of members of the committee, where the guest team was welcomed in a distinctive organizational atmosphere that reflects the Kingdom’s keenness to provide the best images of reception and hospitality.
Upon its arrival, the mission moved to the Dawn Town Rotana Hotel in the capital, Manama, approved for the establishment of the teams participating in the championship, where the competent committee completed the housing procedures smoothly.
The New Zealand national team is scheduled to start its training according to the technical schedule approved by the organizing committee, in preparation for the championship competitions, as it was drawn by the preliminary round draw in the fourth group alongside the South Korea and Vietnam teams.
