Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a meeting this evening to check on the plan to secure the needs of petroleum products and natural gas required in the various sectors.
Hassan Abdullah, Governor of the Central Bank, Engineer Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources participated in the meeting.
Below are the most prominent points that the meeting dealt with:
– The government has a move plan to secure the various needs of petroleum and gas materials for the various sectors, especially the electricity sector, which needs larger quantities of fuel with the start of the summer.
– Targeting the presence of 3 volatile ships from the beginning of next July, with their capacity to be 2250 cubic feet per day, while last year these energies were only about 1,000 cubic feet.
– Full coordination with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources regarding providing electricity stations with gas quantities or diesel required to operate these stations.
– The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources reviewed the position of gas production currently, as well as strategic precautions from gasoline, diesel, buttocks and diesel.
– The oil sector continues its efforts to secure the needs of electricity stations of natural gas and diesel, through the instant follow -up of the network condition and enhance the flexibility of the supply system.
