The Meteorological Authority revealed the developments of the weather today, Friday, June 13, 2025, explaining the continued high temperatures in most parts of the parts.
Weather today
According to what was published in an official statement, very hot weather prevails in the day on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, North and South Upper Egypt, while it is relatively hot on the northern coasts, and moderate heat during the night hours and early morning.
The Meteorological Authority explained the details of the wind movement, so that it will be moderate to active in some areas, as it records the highest wind speeds in South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges to reach 34 km/h, while a sunny and stable atmosphere prevails in all regions without chances of rain.
Weather today in Cairo
According to the authority’s expectations for the weather today in Cairo, the maximum temperatures in the Greater Cairo regions are recorded 38 degrees Celsius, and the lowest 23 degrees, while it rises to 43 degrees in the south of Upper Egypt with sunny and dry weather, and decreases in the northwestern coasts to record the Great 30 and the lowest 20 degrees Celsius, with a relatively moderate atmosphere.
Marine navigation status
In the case of the seas, the Mediterranean is witnessing a state of moderation, and the height of the waves ranges between one meter and 1.5 meters, which allows the movement of maritime navigation, while the Red Sea is moderate to turbulent, and the height of its waves ranges between 1.5 to 2.5 meters, with relatively active winds.
Meteorology recommended citizens to wear light and cotton clothes, and avoid exposure to direct sunlight, especially in the afternoon, with the need to drink more water and fluids to avoid exposure to heat stress in light of the hot atmosphere in the country.
