The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority announced the operation of the “Bassat Al -Zubair” station for the transfer of electrical energy, with an effort of 33/11 kilometers, at a cost of 23 million dirhams, as part of the efforts of the Authority’s continuous efforts to develop the infrastructure of energy transport and distribution networks in the emirate. Engineer Hamad Al Tunaiji, Director of Energy Transport Department, stressed that this project comes within the comprehensive strategic plan implemented by the authority to expand the scope of energy networks, and support the stability and sustainability of electrical nutrition in various areas of Sharjah, in a way that meets the needs of population growth, urban expansion and future development projects.
