The good news now is that Samsung is working on a great development in this feature, allowing users to create their own cards, which may turn now brief into a more intelligent and flexible personal tool.
Fully customized cards for the user
According to new reports from Sammyguru, a hidden menu has been discovered within the “Modes and Routines” application, and it reveals an experimental feature that allows the user to create special cards that appear in the now brief, and so far the interface available in the Korean language only, but the automatic translation clearly showed the idea.
For example, you can create a card as “morning exercise time” or “remind the medicine”, with the addition of a dedicated message such as: “Start the exercise now!”, And you can also attach a picture of the card, and determine a specific application that is opened when pressed, and most importantly, the timing of the card can be scheduled, with the possibility of repetition monthly or weekly as needed.
The experience is still incomplete
Although the process of creating cards is running smoothly through the hidden menu, these cards do not actually appear in the now brief interface, and this function is likely to be part of the stable One UI 8 update that has not been officially released yet.
Among the most prominent uses is the emergence of a card for the public transport application at five in the evening, or a card to run the music application at the beginning of the day, and it remains hope that Samsung will add more control such as implementing specific procedures within the application instead of just opening it.
