Al -Malab newspaper – Portugal was crowned the European Nations League title for the second time in its history, after its exciting victory over Spain with a penalty shootout 5-4, in the final match that brought them together this evening.
The original and additional time of the match ended in a draw, so that the two teams governed the penalty shootout, as Portugal players succeeded in successfully implementing five kicks, while the Spanish team missed one kick that was able to resolve the title in favor of “Brazil Europe”.
This coronation is the second for Portugal in the history of the tournament, after it won the first title in the opening version in 2019, to confirm its position as one of the most prominent European teams in recent years.
