Sharjah: “The Gulf”, on the occasion of the International Environment Day, the “Sharjah Prize for Voluntary Work” announced the launch of the “Environmental Champions” competition, and aims to encourage children from 7 years to 12 years to participate in providing creative ideas of the importance of volunteering in the environment and protecting them. The competition requires preparing a short video of no more than 60 seconds, which provides a distinctive idea of the importance of volunteering in preserving the environment. They can also take advantage of their talents in acting, narration, drawing, or photographing daily life scenes to deliver their message. The award indicated that the competition requires that the participant be from within the UAE, and the video is in high quality and is subject to publication through the communication sites, while providing the message clearly and creatively
