The Supply Department at the Baba Center, south of Beni Suef Governorate, launched an expanded rationing campaign in cooperation with the local unit, as part of the directives of Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, to intensify control of markets, bakeries and butcher shops, in preparation for receiving Eid Al -Adha.
The campaign resulted in the seizure of a number of various food violations, most notably: the sale of expired food commodities, the width of slaughtered meat outside the government slaughterhouse, the non -announcement of prices, the possession of unknown goods.
The necessary records were also edited to the violators, and the seized quantities were seized, in preparation for presenting them to the Public Prosecution to complete the legal procedures.
These campaigns come within the governorate’s plan to control the markets, and to ensure the arrival of safe and valid commodities for citizens, while continuing to intensify oversight during the coming period.
