A limited fire broke out today, inside the Virgin Church in Esna, south of Luxor Governorate, as a result of the explosion of a gasket tube, which led to a state of panic among citizens, without any injuries or deaths.
Urgent move from ambulance
Immediately after the ambulance room received a report of the accident, 3 ambulances were paid to the report, in anticipation of any injuries or suffocation cases, and the civil protection forces that managed to control the fire were notified in record time.
Initial investigations
Security sources reported that preliminary investigations indicate that the cause of the explosion is due to a gas leakage from a gas tube inside one of the facilities of the church, which led to the burning of fire in a limited scope.
No human losses
The same sources confirmed that there are no loss of lives or human injuries, while damage is being restricted and investigations are followed to find out the circumstances of the accident accurately.
