The Media Center of the Council of Ministers published a number of infographics through its platforms on social media, during which he reviewed the most prominent activities of Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, this week from May 31 to June 6, 2025, which included meetings and meetings, and events to launch new technologies.
Governmental measures to increase the supply of red meat in the markets
According to the infographics, the Prime Minister witnessed the signing ceremony of a partnership and development contract to launch the city of “Juraya” at the Sheikh Zayed axis, and stressed during his speech that the project is a qualitative shift in the future of smart cities, the environment friendly, where the city is located on an area of approximately 6.8 million square meters, at an expected cost and investment returns up to one trillion and 500 billion pounds, and the project will provide 250 thousand jobs.
He also held a meeting to follow up the procedures for increasing the size of the supply of red meat in the markets, where the Ministry of Agriculture diversified the sources of import, and prepared to create quarries, massacres and refrigerators required, in a way that contributes to providing the required quantities of meat at appropriate prices for citizens, in addition to announcing the start of coordination to establish a factory for the production of children’s dairy in cooperation between the “Future of Egypt” and the private sector.
The Prime Minister received the Iraqi ambassador in Cairo to discuss files of common concern, as the meeting dealt with ways to enhance triple cooperation between Egypt, Iraq and Jordan, in light of the keenness to support the mechanism of joint cooperation, by activating the agreements and initiatives between the three countries.
The infographics included the Prime Minister’s meeting with the Minister of Environment to review the harvest of the ministry’s work for the period from 2018 to 2025, where 92% of the targeted reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the electricity sector until 2030, and 88% of the target in the oil and gas sector were achieved, while the transportation sector has significantly exceeded the target proportions, and the number of national network stations to monitor the surrounding air increased by 34%.
In the same context, the industrial emissions monitoring network witnessed a development of 121% for the monitoring points, and the percentage of the collected solid municipal waste that is circulating in an environmentally sound manner increased to about 37% in 2025, compared to only 10% in 2018, with targeting reaching 60% by June 2027.
He also witnessed the activities of launching the fifth generation mobile phone services in Egypt, and stressed during his speech that the fifth generation is not only a higher speed for communication, but is a real empowerment of youth talents, their emerging projects, and their innovative ideas, noting that the launch of the fifth generation applications establishs smart infrastructure, capable of supporting digital industries.
