Ahmed Ali, Director of the Supply Directorate in Suez Governorate, announced the implementation of an expanded campaign on markets, shops, restaurants and municipal bakeries, in conjunction with the first days of Eid Al -Adha, to ensure the validity of food commodities for human consumption.

The Director of the Directorate said, in press statements, that the campaign was carried out in coordination with the Supply Investigations and in conjunction with the Veterinary Medicine Directorate, and resulted in the seizure of 200 kilograms of manufactured sausage and non -suitable fats for human consumption, in addition to 82.5 kg of corrupt meat within a number of restaurants and stores, and the necessary legal measures were taken.
He pointed to the editing of a report for one of the shops for slaughtering outside the slaughterhouse, and seizing 23.5 kilograms of unknown meat, and 20 kilograms of meat and viscera that is not suitable for human consumption.
Add Director of the Directorate 11 minutes were edited to operate employment without health certificates proving that they are free of infectious diseases, as well as controlling quantities of expired sweets inside a store.
He explained that the campaign edited 16 minutes for not announcing the prices of petroleum products, in addition to minutes related to a lack of bread weight in 3 municipal bakeries, and another bakery that did not adhere to the specifications, in addition to violations related to the lack of cleanliness of dough tools, and not to announce the prices of products.
Ahmed Ali stressed that the campaigns are continuing during the days of Eid to achieve discipline within the markets, shops and restaurants, while taking the necessary legal measures in order to preserve the health and safety of citizens.
