Engineer Adel Al -Najjar announced Giza GovernorRaising the maximum level of readiness in all health facilities at the governorate level during the blessed Eid Al -Adha days, to ensure that medical services are provided to citizens efficiently and quickly.
The Governor stressed the importance of the readiness of all hospitals and health units and their continued work at full capacity to receive sick and emergency conditions around the clock.
Giza Governor: Intensive preparations in the health system to receive the blessed Eid Al -Adha
The governor stressed that the health plan includes comprehensive preparations in the fields of preventive and therapeutic medicine, where medical leaders were directed to intensify the presence of medical teams, activate operating rooms and emergency and continuous coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure the speed of response to any health emergency.
Al -Najjar explained that the numbers of doctors have been increased in critical departments and provide additional beds in emergency departments, general surgery, bones, intensive care and burns, while ensuring the readiness of medical devices in all these departments, and medicines, solutions and medical supplies were provided in sufficient quantities.
The governor pointed out that preventive medicine teams operate at full capacity during the Eid period, as an operating room operating 24 hours has been formed to receive and deal with communications from citizens.
The Governor of Giza instructed the Directorate of Health Affairs in full coordination with the ambulance facility and emergency rooms in public hospitals, diets, health units and urban centers, to ensure full readiness to deal with any emergency reports during the Eid, with full commitment to infection control instructions and the provision of personal condoms for medical teams.
For her part, Dr. Amal Rushdi, Director of the Health Affairs Directorate in Giza Governorate, confirmed that a rapid spread teams have been equipped to support hospitals in the governorate scope, in addition to ensuring the availability of medicines, emergency supplies and the necessary transportation means for them, and additional quantities of blood bags and their derivatives were provided in anticipation of any emergency.
Rushdie added that the directorate reviewed the technical status of elevators, generators, gas networks and oxygen tancies, and to ensure the readiness of all maintenance contracts and the speed of intervention in the event of any sudden breakdowns during the Eid period.
