Aswan Governorate, in coordination with all concerned authorities, continued their efforts to remove violations related to the mills and crushers of gold, in implementation of the assignments of Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal, Governor of Aswan, to preserve resources and mining and natural resources, especially the gold metal, address attempts to deplete them, and the firm confrontation of the phenomenon of random exploration.
Immediate and rapid dealing with any violations related to the mills and crushers of gold
Atef Kamel, head of the local unit of the Edfu Center and City, said that, according to the instructions of the Governor of Aswan, to deal immediately and rapidly with any violations related to the mills and crushers of gold to preserve them, a magnified campaign was organized on the mills and gold crushers in the village of Wadi Abadi, as it targeted the removal of 32 mills inside 10 sites operating in the field of cracking and grinding.
He pointed out that the campaign witnessed the participation of the security services led by Major General Imad Jabra, the head of the North Division, as well as the deputies of the city’s president and the head of the village, representatives of the Agricultural Administration and the Edfu Protection Department in Edfu, and the heavy equipment of the local unit was removed.
