A court in Paris ruled today, Monday, the retrial of Saad just for the charge of attacks and violence, with strict circumstances of the punishment, in a judicial procedure that is held behind closed doors at the request of the civil party, according to French newspapers.
The singer is free under a judicial supervision before the Court of Appeal in the Val de Marne area in Crete, near Paris, and he had previously appealed just because of the ruling issued against the Court of First Instance in 2023 and that he was imprisoned 6 years in prison.

During the first trial, the Criminal Court in Paris was convicted of a murder of rape and hitting a young woman who had met her in a nightclub in Paris, in a luxury hotel room in Paris in 2016.
The defendant who appealed the verdict to confirm his innocence, and only admitted that he brutally pushed the victim on her face; Because she scratched him, and denied the attack on the young woman, who was 20 years old.
He is being tried for free under judicial supervision, after he was temporarily released in April 2023, and he attended today’s session while he was putting a medical bandage on his ear, after undergoing surgery months ago, and Laura Priol also attended the session accompanied by her mother.
Saad just faces similar accusations in France, the United States and Morocco, and yet, he remains a famous figure in the Arab world with a wide follow -up on social media.
