Fatima bint Jaafar Al -Serafi, Minister of Tourism, confirmed that the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation are witnessing an accelerated development that reflects the common desire to deepen cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields, including in the tourism sector.
This came during the meeting of the Minister of Tourism with Maxim Reichnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Federal Republic of Russia, in the presence of Sarah Ahmed Bouhji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, in the context of the official visit by His Excellency to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral relations were discussed, especially in the tourism sector, through mutual promotion, and the organization of joint tourism events and programs, as well as reviewing cooperation opportunities in the areas of business tourism, exhibitions, and conferences.
For his part, Maxim Reichnikov, Minister of Economic Development in the Russian Federation, praised the durability of the relations between his country and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the constructive cooperation it witnesses in various fields, noting the remarkable development witnessed by the tourism sector in the Kingdom, and expressing his country’s aspiration to enhance bilateral cooperation in this sector and others, in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries.
