German press reports revealed that Bayer Leverkusen club was a student from the Bayern Munich club management to pay an amount of up to 4 million euros, in order to allow its defender Jonathan T to move to the Bavarian giant before Club World Cup 2025.
The Club World Cup for 2025 will be held on June 14.
Bayern Munich ended his contract with Bayer Leverkusen Jonathan Tah defender, but the player’s contract with his club will remain officially, as he will end next July.
Leverkusen demands Bayern Munich to pay 4 million euros
The German newspaper Blid said that Bayer Leverkusen is calling for Bayern Munich to pay 4 million euros, to allow Jonathan Tah to move to the Bavarian giant before July, so that he can participate with the Bavarian giant in the World Cup club.
The German newspaper pointed out that Bayern Leverkusen insists on this amount, because he does not want to provide any facilities for his opponent Bayern Munich, especially since the Bavarian giant can get returns up to 125 million euros because of his participation in the World Cup.
The newspaper confirmed that the Bayern Munich administration was surprised by these financial demands from the management of Bayer Leverkusen Club, as she expected a kind of flexibility in appreciation of the long period that Jonathan Tah spent with the club.
