The Equal Opportunities Committee of the Ministry of Information held its second meeting of 2025, headed by Abdel -Rahman Khaled Al -Midfa, Assistant Undersecretary for News and Organizational Affairs, and in the presence of members of the committee. The committee reviewed the achievements achieved during the first half of this year to enhance opportunities to support the progress of women in the various departments and departments of the Ministry, as well as following up previous decisions and coordination with the relevant authorities regarding participation in the relevant national events.
The committee also discussed a number of initiatives for the coming period, including reactivating media content that highlights the role of women in the media sector, and preparing materials that highlight the success stories of the Ministry’s employees in cooperation with the competent departments. The committee stressed the importance of strengthening the principle of equal opportunities as an essential enemy in institutional policies, praising the support of Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al -Nuaimi, Minister of Information and his keenness to empower women and improve their role in the national media scene.
