In a debate between two teams, the first is a western family with white skin and the other is a group of young people with black skin, and hateful and superior racism overcame the first team’s conversation as if they were the chosen people, while the other team was objective, logical and equality between all human beings in all their forms, colors and ethnicities, then a dark tan young man said: “From the inside we are all similar!”.
“From the inside of us are similar.” The fact that we all realize and make sure of it, so that white racist does not hesitate to accept a college, blood or the heart of a black person to save his health and life, while he fails to acknowledge it at the first cultural, political, religious, ethnic, or class confrontation.
The forms of racism and discrimination differ between the two different, and if each of them fits with the terms of equality, tolerance and humility, the rich does not accept the poor to sit in the forums, and the owner of the lineage does not apply to only those who reward it socially, and the doctrines are struggling because each of them is only the surviving division, and the sects are fighting to exclusively exclusively in the paradise that does not accommodate others, and other examples that are countless For religions of religions, ethnicity, partisans and classes.
In our societies where the backgrounds and affiliations are multiple, tolerance becomes more than a virtue; Rather, it is necessary to maintain our human adherence, and perhaps the most beautiful thing in tolerance is that it does not start from the idea of ”accepting the other as it is”, but rather the discovery of “how far or closer to us”, and we look at what brings us together instead of what separates us, so we find that tolerance is not a concession, but a space for meeting, coexistence does not require similarity, and the difference does not prevent intersection.
Tolerance will prevail between the two different when the dialogue is transferred from the area of defense of identity to the space of recognition of the participants, and when the difference turns from a threat to an opportunity to understand a deeper self and the other, the difference is understood as natural, not a defect or weakness, and people are transcended by the rulings and the question is transformed from “Why is it like this?” To “What can I understand from his experience?”
At that time, social and cultural safety and a sense of respect and dignity will be available, which allows every person to express their difference without fear of exclusion.
Finally, we do not need bloodshed in order to know that we are similar!
