Mr. Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, participated in the opening of the work of the World Facilities Conference 2025, which is held under the slogan “Innovation for a new era in the utility sector” in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi, under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and with the wide participation of Excellencies and Excellency Ministers, Representatives of Governments, Industry and Innovation leaders from Different around the world.
On this occasion; The minister stressed the importance of the conference as a pivotal platform to draw the features of the future of the utilities sector, noting that the conference constitutes a major starting point to provide innovative solutions to face the most prominent challenges facing the sector, including digital transformation, energy safe transport, storage techniques, water security, and exploring future investment opportunities in this vital sector.
He added that participating in this conference provides an opportunity to see the latest global technology in the utilities sector, in addition to reviewing the distinguished experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in this field, and exchanging experiences and experiences with representatives of countries and participating institutions from all over the world.
This year’s version is witnessing wide participation, which includes more than 18 thousand international specialists and experts, and about 500 speakers in the framework of 120 various dialogue sessions, aimed at highlighting modern technologies, and discussing opportunities to establish strategic partnerships that contribute to building a more sustainable future for the facilities sector around the world.
