The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat affirmed the approval of the imposition of a financial fine of 50 thousand dirhams on all the citizens of the state to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without a correct Hajj permit and approved by the commission. The decision comes within the framework of the authority’s keenness to provide a safe pilgrimage experience for all UAE pilgrims. She emphasized that the performance of the Hajj pilgrimage to all male and female citizens depends on granting an official pilgrimage permit that it shall be issued, based on the decisions of the Council of Ministers in the Hajj and Umrah system that defined the procedures regulating the Hajj season in the state, and guarantees the distribution of opportunities between applicants with transparency and clarity through electronic screening programs.
