The Arab Organization for Communications and Information Technologies of the League of Arab States honored the Kingdom of Bahrain to classify it among the first category in the world in the World Cyber Security Index for the year 2024 (Caisec’25), during the opening of the work of the fourth international conference for cybersecurity and security, held over the past 25 and 26 May 2025, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, under the patronage of Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Shield of Arab Excellence in the field of cybersecurity from the Kingdom of Bahrain, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdul Wahab Al Khalifa, Vice President for Cyber Operations at the National Center for Cyber Security, affirmed that this honor embodies the international appreciation of the efforts made by the Arab countries to raise their cybersecurity.
The Vice President for Cyber Operations at the National Center for Cyber Security pointed to the advanced position achieved by the Kingdom at the international level in the field of cybersecurity, based on the results of the index issued by the United Nations International Telecommunication Union.
He added that the Kingdom of Bahrain succeeded in strengthening its cybersecurity through a comprehensive national strategy, and with continuous leadership support, in addition to investing in qualified national competencies, which contributed to the consolidation of its position as a strategic partner influencing the regional and international levels in the field of cybersecurity.
He also stressed the importance of the participation of the National Center for Cyber Security in this session of the conference, because of its advanced platform to see the latest smart security solutions and future directions in light of the acceleration of digital and technological transformations on the strategic, technical and organizational levels.
The Fourth International Conference on Cyber Information and Security will be held this year under the slogan: “Securing the Future and Flap Techniques”, with the participation of more than 180 major speakers of leaders and experts in the field of cybersecurity from all over the world, along with more than 5,000 participants from decision makers and specialists in the vital sectors, with the aim of enhancing the technological flexibility of countries and institutions in facing the growing digital challenges, and expanding the horizons of cooperation between the public sectors And private, which contributes to building a more secure and sustainable digital future in the Arab world.
