The Minister of Oil participates in the eighteenth meeting of the Board of Trustees of the “Cedar” Center

His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dinah, Minister of Oil and Environment, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, participated in the eighteenth meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Environment and Development Center for the Arab Region and Europe (Cedari) through the visual communication technology, which was held headed by Eng. Abdul Rahman Al -Fadhli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in the presence of Dr. Khaled Fahmy, Transitional Executive Director of the Environment and Development Center for the Arab Region and Europe (Sidari) and the former Egyptian Environment Minister, a number of Excellencies and Excellency Ministers, the League of Arab States, the Islamic Development Bank, the University of Malta and the United Nations organizations.

His Excellency affirmed during the meeting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for regional efforts to enhance joint environmental work and achieve the goals of sustainable development. He also praised the efforts made by the “Cedari” center in supporting joint Arab environmental work, enhancing the building of national capabilities, providing strategic solutions to environmental challenges facing the countries of the region, pointing to the importance of continuing efforts to develop the institutional capabilities of the center, and keeping pace with the emerging environmental priorities in countries Arabic.

During the meeting, the Board of Trustees was informed of a set of administrative and financial reports and recommendations that were discussed and the council took appropriate decisions regarding them in a way that enhances the performance of the center and its activities at the regional level.
