Abu Dhabi: Metha Al -Ansi discovered a research team at the Khalifa University of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi, that the performance of steam generators using solar energy is declining, due to the loss of the ability to absorb light, not because of the natural blockage of salt. The team also discovered that the presence of salt can actually improve the evaporation process, even in the absence of light, and these results contribute to making way for the use of solar energy and producing fresh water efficiently.
