The Deputy Financial Secretary of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Walid Kano, explained that the two -day “Bab Bahrain” forum was a major and important event.
He pointed out that there is a specific mechanism to follow up on these recommendations, which is to form a committee that includes members of the Chamber and employees from the ministry to discuss the offered matters, noting that it represents the Chamber as a member of this committee, which reflects cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Kano emphasized that the Chamber is working closely with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, where the recommendations that were reached during the forum are presented to the ministry, and then to be submitted to the government for consideration, adding that the clear mechanism in which the Chamber and the Ministry of Trade and Industry work contribute to improving communication and coordination between the concerned authorities to achieve the forum outputs in a way that reflects positively on the national economy and private sector institutions.
