A member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, MP Ahmed Al -Salloum, emphasized the ambition that Bahraini merchants seek through the discussions that took place in the Bab Bahrain Forum with international speakers.
The forum’s goal is to shed light on the challenges the economy faces in Bahrain and the region, and experts with international and regional experiences attracted innovative solutions to the problems presented.
He stressed the importance of working during the next six months to achieve a large part of these outputs, as the goal of achieving 50% of the recommendations was determined during this year.
It was based on a previous experience where 67% of 22 initiatives launched by the Chamber at the beginning of the 30th session, and over a period of 3 years, expressing his confidence in the possibility of achieving 50% of the current outputs as a logical and proportional goal.
Al -Salloum explained that the outputs reached during the forum were raised to the Council of Ministers, noting that some challenges require new legislative amendments and economic policies, in addition to the need for financing for some sectors to enhance their growth and sustainability.
This ambition reflects Bahrain’s commitment to improving the business environment and supporting the economy through cooperation between the public and private sectors.
