The CEO of the Quality House for Consulting d. Ahmed Al -Kufi, by granting independence universities in order to be able to meet the needs of the labor market, stressing the importance of the graduate being qualified to take responsibility, commitment and the ability to make decisions.

He added in his intervention during the “Al -Watan” symposium entitled: “The future of university specialties in the labor market”, that there are new academic programs that the labor market cannot meet, so that the student collides after graduating from the absence of his dream job.

Al -Kufi said: “We must not only look at the needs of the Bahraini market, but we also have to prepare and qualify the Bahraini graduates for the Gulf labor market, taking into account the academic programs available in this market,” noting that it is necessary to review the required specializations.

It touched on the disabilities facing university graduates in the labor market, the most prominent of which is the lack of a central database that clarifies the Kingdom’s need for jobs during the coming years, and the weak vocational counseling in schools to direct the student towards the path and the correct academic specialization, in addition to the student’s choices to choose the university is not based on advice and guidance.

The CEO of the Quality House of Consulting explained that there is a wrong concept about “identification”, as some consider it to be dependent on “professional discipleship” in specific specialties, but on the contrary, the “apprehension” concerns each job.

Al -Kufi also stressed that the graduate does not only need to develop job skills, but must be rehabilitated in other skills such as self -development, method of speaking and other relevant areas, so that he can engage in the labor market.
