The Southern Rabaa representative, the municipal member Mohamed Drag, revealed the start of the work of developing the Al -Wafa Park in the “Al -Hujayat” area in Al -Riffa, indicating that the designs work and the budgets dedicated to the comprehensive development project of the park, which are the largest in the department, have been completed.
He told Al -Watan: “After a strong follow -up, work began to develop the death garden, and the fence is being dyed,” explaining that work will be implemented by installing a new fence, in addition to installing 6 new games for children, 7 new headlights for the park and 7 chairs, and the public lighting will be modified in the park, indicating that the park will resume receiving the people during the summer.
Drag explained that this development aims to provide a safe space for the families and their children to play and entertain and spend time with the need to take care of the gardens and conduct the necessary maintenance for them periodically, so that the primary goal of its existence is to be an outlet for the families and residents living in the region, in addition to developing the gardens with its facilities and maintenance and caring for them contributes to attracting visitors.
He explained that the development comes as a continuation of the great interest in the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture in the file of livestock development, parks, parks and its facilities in various regions of the Kingdom, including the highest possible amount of services and recreational and public requirements, in implementation of the government program and Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, and what is included in the strategic structural plan for Bahrain.
