The UAE has intensified its efforts to complete the procedures and measures that enable the pilgrims of the state to perform the pilgrimage this year with ease. The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat stated that the number of citizens who perform the Hajj pilgrimage for this year amounted to 6 thousand and 228 citizens, of whom 5648 perform it for the first time. She pointed to the distribution of 6500 Quran, 6500 bags, 6500 “brochures that are on the pilgrimage”, 6500 pilgrims, 6500 “booklets of Hajj values”, and 6500 “supplication booklet with Hajj”.
