Today, Saturday, May 24, 2025, Egypt is witnessing a very hot wave over most parts, amid very hot weather day and mild at night and early in the morning, according to the Meteorological Authority.
Great temperatures in Greater Cairo are recorded 36 degrees Celsius, and the lowest 23, while it reaches 40 degrees in the south of the country, such as Luxor and Aswan, and the minor is 27 degrees, while the north of Upper Egypt records temperatures ranging from 38 for the Great and 23 for the minor.
Air phenomena
The meteorology expected that very hot weather will prevail during the day, moderate at night and in the early morning, amid wind activity at intermittent periods that increase the sense of relative coldness in some areas during the night, but in return it raises sand and dust during the day, especially in Greater Cairo, the eastern coasts, and the south of the country.
The authority also warned of the disruption of maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, where the wind speed reaches between 40 and 60 km/h, and the height of the waves to between 2 and 3 meters, which negatively affects the hunting and navigation movement.

The authority recommends avoiding direct exposure to sunlight, especially during the afternoon hours, a lot of drinking water, and wearing light cotton clothing, while being careful while driving due to dust -raging wind activity.
