The pilgrimage is one of the greatest seasons in which the servant is raised on the piety of God Almighty, and glorifying his rituals and sanctities. The Almighty said in the verses of the Hajj: (That is and whoever glorifies the rituals of God, then they are the piety of hearts), Hajj: 32. He commanded the pilgrims to provide from piety, so Glory be to Him:
The pilgrimage remains an experience that carries with it a lot of meaning and spirituality, an experience linking man and his Creator with the links of loyalty, humility and reverence, an unforgettable journey, from which we learn from the deep truth of existence and life, and links us to the sky and the earth with a spirit of peace and humility.
And if the pilgrimage is not merely a worship performed by a Muslim, but rather a spiritual and spiritual school in which the greatest human and religious values are manifested. This sacred journey is a unique occasion to consolidate deep concepts in the souls, such as humility, compliance with the orders of God, equality, patience, and impartiality from the world. Hence, planting these meanings in the hearts of children represents a major educational investment that contributes to building their religious and moral personality from a young age.
How do we benefit from the meanings of Hajj in raising children? Teaching piety and maximizing rituals: One of the most prominent things that distinguishes the pilgrimage is to glorify the rituals of God, which is what we must raise the child, by sanctifying the orders of God and respecting his times and limits. The child can learn that every ritual has meaning and that obedience to God is better for him in this world and the hereafter.
Planting the values of humility and equality: in Hajj, people are equal, so there is no preference for an Arab over my Ajami except with piety. This great message can be implanted in the child that people are equal, and that the real criterion is morality and good deeds, not form or money.
Patience and discipline: The hardship of Hajj learns a person with patience and discipline, which are two basic characteristics in raising a child, so it is learned that obedience is not always easy, but it has a lot of good.
Developing a sense of belonging to the Islamic nation: The child sees through the Hajj a vivid picture of Islamic unity, so he learns that he has brothers in religion from all parts of the earth, who share with him in belief and worship, which enhances his sense of belonging and increases his pride in his religion.

Interactive activities and simulation: organizing an educational journey that mimics the rituals of Hajj, such as wearing ihraam, circumambulation around a model of the Kaaba, and the pursuit of “Al -Safa and Marwah”, which establishes concepts in the child’s mind in a practical way.
Using modern educational aids: providing videos, animation, and interactive maps showing the places of the rituals and their temporal sequence, so that the information is enjoyable and easy to understand.
Stories and dialogues: Show stories from the biography of the Prophet ﷺ and his companions during the Hajj, and link them to the values that we want to instill, such as the story of Abraham and Ismail, peace be upon them.
Establishing competitions and artistic activities: drawing competitions, chants, or writing an expression of “my journey to Mecca” can be organized, which enhances the ritual love in the same child and raises his faith imagination.
Linking the pilgrimage to daily behavior: Teaching the child that the meanings of the Hajj is not only for the season, but it can be applied in his daily life: such as patience, order, purity, and tolerance, which makes the Hajj a continuous source of education.
Teaching children the meanings of Hajj and its rituals is not only religious education, but it is an implantation of high -end human values that establish a generation that knows how to link worship with behavior, and lives with faith, awareness and humility. Just as the pilgrimage cleanses the soul from sins, the instill his meanings in the child purifies his heart from intolerance, vanity, and ignorance, to grow while carrying in his heart the light of monotheism and the sincerity of belonging to the religion of mercy and justice.
