Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, stressed that the state’s efforts in the health file reflects the belief of the political leadership and its great interest in the health of society, and its constant endeavor to provide the best health care for citizens, noting that all the health projects established by the state aim to provide integrated health services, which would improve the health services provided, and achieve the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s 2030 vision.
Cairo Governor: We give the health sector great attention … and improve health services at the top of our priorities
In a statement, the Governor of Cairo stressed that the governorate gives the health sector great attention and places improving health services at the top of its priorities in an effort to provide various health services to citizens, and to work continuously to advance its quality to provide the best level of medical services to citizens.
In this context, Dr. Hammouda Al -Jazzar, Director of the Health Affairs Directorate, indicated that the Directorate has achieved many achievements during the past four months, as the total number of services provided by the Directorate reached 10,117,714 services distributed over its various departments, including 1,125,179 services provided by the hospital administration distributed among emergency patients, clinics, intensive care, perspectives, and operations where 7,898 operations were performed, and the total treatment decisions reached At the expense of the state, 106,079 decisions, at a cost of 410,209,558 pounds, and 17 medical convoys were organized, of which 49206 citizens benefited, and the cost of medicines that were disbursed during the caravans was 690355 pounds.
The Free Treatment Department provided 1182 services between a complaint examination, a health facility license, and a warning decision with a violation, and the Nutrition Department provided 606167 meals at a cost of 50745428 pounds.
The blood banks administration drained 6,837 blood bags, and 31 blood donations were carried out, during which 8,285 blood bags collected.
The Director of the Directorate added that the total number of services provided by the Food Control Department is 42041 services, as 6759 facilities were passed, 2593 samples were examined, and 2802 minutes of food facilities, and 23275 kilograms of damaged and corrupt foods were set Which in the first stage reached 90945 boxes, and the second stage is 150096 cans, while the number of curative dairy cans that were spent 18,402 cans.
The number of services provided by the Environmental Health Department reached 13914 services between examining water network samples, swimming pools, industrial sewage and processor, tanks, schools, massacres, cowardice, and markets that have been passed.
As for the Family Planning Department, the number of beneficiaries reached 318,809 women, as the administration provides birth services, family planning means, family planning and reproductive health convoys, media seminars and pioneers.
