Al -Azhar International Center for Electronic Fatwa reviewed the provisions of women in the Hajj, explaining that the pilgrimage is obligatory for every Muslim who can be a man or a woman; For God Almighty said: By God, the people have the pilgrimage to the house of those who were able to a path and whoever disbelieves, God is rich in the worlds, Surat Al -Imran, verse No. 97, the woman’s travel is not required to perform the pilgrimage of the obligatory prayer, then her husband is at the majority of jurists, and if the woman does not have the expense of the pilgrimage of the obligatory money from her money, she did not answer her, and from the charity of her husband to her to carry the expense of her Hajj.
What are the provisions of a woman in Hajj?
Al -Azhar added to the fatwa, that it is permissible to perform a woman for others; A man or a woman, on the condition of her Hajj for herself, first, provided that the woman is deprived of her usual clothing, the veil of all of her body, except for her face and palm; For his saying ﷺ: The forbidden woman does not call, nor wear gloves.
One of the rulings of a woman in the Hajj is that the forbidden preserves her moderate gait during circumambulation and pursuit, and the sand is not entertained in the circumambulation, nor the speed of the two green sciences in the endeavor, noting that it is permissible for the need to wash her hair, veto and combing it; When it was narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said to the mother of the believers Aisha, may God be pleased with her: Your head has passed and stimulates, while it is not permissible for a woman to shave her hair; Rather, it must be shortened as much as the finger fingerprint to complete the hermit; For the hadith of our master, the Messenger of God ﷺ: Women have no shaving, but for women to fail.
The center added that it is permissible for the need to take medical drugs to prevent menstruation, provided that it is not damaged, but if the forbidden menstruation surprises it: it must perform all the rituals, except that it does not circumambulate the house until it is purified; Because our master, the Messenger of God ﷺ to the mother of the believers, Aisha, may God be pleased with her: Do what the pilgrim does, except that you do not circumambulate the house until it is purified, and if the menstruation surprises her before performing the circumambulation of the ritual, and I feared the missed companionship; She has to reserve and take well and floated at home.
Al -Azhar assured the fatwa, that if the need is performed, all the rituals are surprised and the menstruation surprised it after the circumambulation of the Iftah; It is permissible for her to travel whenever she wants; The farewell tawaaf fell from it; When it was narrated on the authority of the mother of the believers, Aisha, may God be pleased with her, that Safiya is the daughter of the neighborhood of the Prophet ﷺ she was menstruating, and I mentioned that to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said: “We loved us.” They said:
